What is Dermatitis

A sudden change in the skin’s appearance, color, or texture indicates skin diseases. It can cause swelling, itching, and blistering, with or without pain. This disease is known as Dermatitis. The discomfort or pain of this disease also creates an abnormal condition that is visible. Many skin diseases, such as acne, eczema, rashes, and fungal infections, are commonly found in people with dermatitis. In addition, measles, Rubella, Gulagola, and Chicken Pox, are common skin diseases in children. In some situations, the blistered and dry skin can be very painful, and the virus infection can be responsible for chickenpox.

Factors Affecting Dermatitis

The causative factors of Dermatitis are as wide as the types of diseases. For example, it can be caused due to heat, weakness of the immune system, infection, allergies to medicines and chemicals like rubber, cosmetics, detergents, soaps, dyes, etc.

The skin type and different alcohol-based or infrequent shampooing are also responsible for skin problems. In addition, some uncontrolled factors like old age, fatigue, weather, and fatigue can develop skin diseases slowly.

Dermatitis is a chronic, recurrent skin condition due to genetic and environmental factors. In recent decades, the prevalence of dermatitis has increased significantly in some countries. However, given that the role of genetics is unlikely to change over this short period, the increased prevalence may be explained by changes in environmental and maternal factors. This review aims to comprehensively summarize the various factors influencing the incidence of dermatitis in the offspring and provide guidance for primary prevention. Recent research has shown that environmental and climatic factors, maternal history of allergies, gestational diabetes, and stress are necessary to increase the risk of dermatitis in infants.

On the other hand, certain factors, including probiotic supplements, fish intake, and moisturizers, have been shown to have a protective effect against dermatitis. This review also considers fundamental research into the prevalence of dermatitis and factors that in the past were mistakenly thought to influence that prevalence, such as cesarean section and antigen avoidance. The possible influence of these factors on the incidence of infantile dermatitis remains inconclusive and requires further study. In addition, infants with a family history of the atopic disease may benefit from weaning early or reducing breast milk.

How Factors Affecting Dermatitis

Immune system: Sometimes, your immune system overreacts. Your immune system reacts to minor irritants or allergens if you have atopic dermatitis, which causes inflammation.

Genetics: Researchers have found that if other people in your family have dermatitis, you are more likely to get it. Additionally, experts have identified changes in genes that control a protein that helps your body maintain healthy skin. Your skin cannot stay healthy without normal levels of that protein.

Exposure: various types of dermatitis are caused by chemicals and other irritants. For example, exposure to fluoride in water or toothpaste can cause perioral dermatitis.

Environment: Your environment can change your skin’s protective barrier to your immune system. Allows excess moisture to escape, and this can be a reason for dermatitis. Possible environmental factors include exposure to tobacco smoking ingredients and certain types of air pollutants. The fragrance is also possible in some skin products and soaps.

Types of Dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis –

This is the most common type of eczema. This type of eczema most commonly affects children. If a child gets this in childhood, it is fine until it becomes an adult. Unfortunately, there is no cure available for this yet. But with protection, you can control it. To prevent this, you can moisturize the skin regularly, use less soap, and keep yourself dehydrated.

 Contact dermatitis–

If you are experiencing skin irritation, itching, and crusting after touching anything, you may have eczema. Its symptoms include redness of the skin, itching, and the formation of bumps in the skin. This problem can be caused by using soap, paint, jewelry, perfume, skin care products, and cigarettes.

 Stasis dermatitis–

Stasis dermatitis occurs when fluid leaks out from weak veins in your skin. This fluid causes swelling, redness, itching, and pain. Due to this, there may be swelling in the lower part of your foot. It can be a problem, especially when you walk. It is also a symptom of pain and heavy feeling in your legs.

Dyshidrotic Eczema –

In dyshidrotic eczema, small blisters appear on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands. Some people also call them water bags. They are itchy, and when they break, they start burning. This type of eczema occurs a lot during the change of seasons. Sometimes it takes months and more than a year to get it right. Symptoms include blistering, cracking, and cracking of the skin on the fingers, soles of the feet, and palms.

 Hand eczema–

It affects only your hands. It often happens to people who are more exposed to chemicals. It can cause burning and pain in the hands. Symptoms of hand eczema include redness, cracking, burning, and blistering of the skin. If you do a job like hairdressing, cleaning, healthcare, or laundry, try wearing gloves on your hands. With this, you can avoid hand eczema.

Neurodermatitis–

It is similar to atopic dermatitis. In this, red and scab-like spots can form on your neck, wrist, hands, feet, and private parts, which are very itchy.

How Homeopathy Treats Dermatitis

Dermatitis is treated with Natural Homeopathic Medicines. The drugs first help reduce the severity of the disease, the frequency of itching, and relapse. The selection has been made based on individual symptoms and constitutional natural homeopathic remedies. There is a promise of eradication from the root of this disease. Homeopathic medicine selection is based on the totality of symptoms. The total includes the state of the eruption, the type of eruption, the worsening and relieving factors, the timing of the itching, aversion to desires and food, sensitivity to heat and cold, and strange psychotic symptoms if present in a high degree. Homeopathic remedies help eradicate atopic dermatitis by boosting the brain’s immunity to the optimum level so that there is no high BP in people with hypertension. Homeopathic treatment for dermatitis is not immediate and takes some time to show its effect. It varies from months to a year depending on the severity, dermatitis, and individual response to treatment.
